Why we picked this coffee:
This is a special coffee because of how its processed - anaerobic! We took this coffee out last week to brew over ice it river side and people commented in suprise at how "pleasant" the coffee is. Some asking ... this is just ice coffee.
This coffee is a late summer gift to our coffee club members.
In about a week we'll post how we flash brew this coffee. (Flash brew is a Japanese style ice pour over).

Asociación Los Naranjos
Asociación Los Naranjos is a close-knit community of 50–60 smallholder farmers in the San Agustín region of Huila. This group represents one of Café Imports' oldest and most valued partnerships, embodying the spirit of collaboration and innovation. Over the years, they've not only worked hand in hand with Café Imports but also played a significant role in a long-term water study that has helped shape sustainable practices in coffee farming.
One of the unique treasures from Los Naranjos is the Pink Bourbon, a rare hybrid of Red and Yellow Bourbon. Known for its resistance to rust, this variety stands out not just for its unique pink hue but also for the challenges it presents. Pink and Orange Bourbons are notoriously difficult to produce consistently due to their recessive genes, which are often overridden by the more dominant yellow and red genes. However, when carefully cultivated and isolated, the Pink Bourbon yields a coffee as distinctive in flavor as it is in color—a true gem in the world of specialty coffee.
